Manga artist Minenami Ryo announced on Twitter this week that the Shounen no Abyss (Boy’s Abyss) manga will end in five chapters. Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine released chapter 179th in its 29th issue on June 20th, 2024, and the final chapter will be released on July 18th, 2024.

Minenami started the manga in February 2020 in Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine, and Shueisha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in July 2020. The manga’s latest volume, number 17, will be published on July 19th, 2024. Viz Media publishes the manga in English, and it released the fourth volume in January 2024.
