Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine has confirmed that the final chapter of Tanaka Strike’s Servamp manga will be published in the January 2025 issue, which will be available for sale on December 13th, 2024.
The manga will now end with the release of the 24th tankoubon volume, not the 23rd volume, as announced last year. The 24th and final volume will be released on December 27th, 2024.
Tanaka started the manga in April 2011 in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine, and Kadokawa released the manga’s first volume in December 2011. The Servamp manga has inspired a TV anime that premiered in July 2016 and a sequel movie in 2018 titled Gekijouban Servamp: Alice in the Garden. It also inspired a stage play adaptation from November to December 2020.
When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses Mahiru Shirota’s path, the high school freshman’s life will never be the same again. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline but a servamp: a servant vampire. While Mahiru’s philosophy is one of non-intervention, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, altogether surreal conflict between vampires and humans.
