The official website for the Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai (My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me!/ 友達の妹が俺にだけウザい ) TV anime has confirmed that the anime’s first episode will have an advanced screening on September 21st, 2025, on ABEMA’s Anime Festival 2025, and that the first episode will also be available to stream in advance from ABEMA, d Anime Store, U-NEXT and Animehodai services from 02:00 a.m. on October 4th, 2025.
Staff for the anime had previously confirmed that the show will premiere on TV on October 4th 2025. The anime will debut on TV Asahi and 23 of its affiliated channels from October 4th at 1:30 a.m.

Koga Kazuomi (Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha, Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is directing the anime at BLADE studio, and the anime will star:
- Ishiya Haruki as Akiteru Ooboshi
- Suzushiro Sayumi as Iroha Kohinata
- Kusunoki Tomori as Mashiro Tsukinomori
- Saitou Souma as Ozuma Kohinata
- Hanazawa Kana as Sumire Kageishi
The anime is an adaptation of the Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai light novel series by Mikawa Ghost (Gimai Seikatsu, Kao Sae Yokereba Ii Kyoushitsu). SB Creative published Mikawa’s first novel with illustrations by tomari (Spy Kyoushitsu) in April 2019, and the 11th novel in March 2025.
Hiraoka Hira adapted the novel series into a manga in December 2019 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website. Square Enix released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2020 and the ninth volume in March 2025. The manga’s 10th volume is scheduled for release on October 7th, 2025.
J-Novel Club released the novel series in English under the name My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me!, and it will publish the 11th novel digitally on December 5th, 2025. It describes the story below:
“If a girl teases you, that means she likes you! Unfortunately, Akiteru knows from experience that isn’t the case.
