The 12th tankoubon volume of the Jahysama ha Kujikenai! (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!/ジャヒー様はくじけない！) manga by Konbu Wakame has confirmed that the manga will end with the 13th volume in 2026.
Konbu (Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii, Sekai de Ichiban Oppai ga Suki!) started the comedy manga in March 2017 in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine, and Square Enix published the manga’s first volume in February 2018 and the 12th volume on November 20th, 2025.
Square Enix Manga & Books has released the first 10 manga volumes in English under the name The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!. It describes the manga story below:
“The Great Jahy, the Dark Realm’s second-in-command, cuts a frightening figure, feared and revered by all. But when a run-in with a magical girl results in the destruction of the precious mana crystal, the Dark Realm falls, transporting the newly puny and powerless Jahy to the human world! Unfortunately, plotting the revival of the Dark Realm from a cramped, crumbling one-room apartment is no easy feat when you have rent to pay and a job to keep!”
The manga was adapted into an anime in July 2021, and all 20 episodes can be streamed on the Crunchyroll website under the name The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!.
