A new instalment in the Monster Hunter franchise has been unveiled this week by CAPCOM at TGA. The new game, Monster Hunter Wilds, will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2025.

The latest game in the franchise, Monster Hunter Rise, was launched for Nintendo Switch in 2021 and PC in January 2022. The game was released for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass in January 2023. Its subsequent expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, debuted for Switch and PC in June 2022 and was launched on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass in April 2023.
Monster Hunter Now, a new augmented reality smartphone game, was released for iOS and Android devices on September 14, 2023.
