Tagashira Shinobu is directing the anime at EMT Squared, and the anime will star Shiraishi Haruka as Leticia and Fukuyama Jun as Clarke.

The anime is an adaptation of the Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi light novel series, created by ​​Sawano Izumi and illustrated by Yumesaki Miru. The first novel was released by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha in April 2019, the second in March 2020, and the third in May 2024.

The stories were adapted into a manga by Sugata Uri (Ashita, Naisho no Kiss Shiyоou) in March 2020, on Shufu to Seikatsu Sha’s Comic Pash! Manga website and Shufu to Seikatsu Sha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2020 and the fifth in November 2023.
