The official Twitter account for the original anime Lazaro (Lazarus) for Toonami revealed a new visual and confirmed that the show will premiere on TV in April 2025 on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels. However, the date of the premiere on Toonami has not yet been revealed.

The anime is set in the near future where the painkiller Hapuna, known as a miracle drug with no side effects, has become widespread. It is discovered that Hapuna causes death to users after three years, and the story depicts the struggles of the five-person agent team Lazarus, who are brought together to track down its creator.
