Kadokawa confirmed this week that Igarashi Masakuni’s Mattaku Saikin no Tantei Tokitara (Detectives These Days…) manga will get a TV anime in 2025, and it released the anime’s teaser visual and promotional video.

Author Igarashi also drew an illustration in commemoration of the news.
Kujo Rion (Ai Doll, Asu no Yoichi!, Hagure Yuusha no Aestetica) will direct the anime, and it will star Suwabe Junichi as Keiichirou Nagumo and Hanazawa Kana as Mashiro.
Igarashi (Senryuu Girl, Mayonaka Heart Tune) started the manga in April 2016 in Kadokawa’s Degeki Maoh magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in July 2016. The manga’s 15th volume will be released on August 27th, 2024.
