It has been confirmed that Shinonome Ruppuu’s Junior High School DxD novels will be adapted into a manga by Ojo for Kadokawa’s Dragon Age magazine. A launch date has yet to be announced.
Kadokawa publishes Shinonome’s Junior High School DxD novel series and it released the first novel in May 2024, and the second on November 20th, 2024.
The Junior High School DxD novel series is a spinoff of Ishibumi Ichiei’s original High School DxD novels. The original High School DxD novels, written by Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero, were published by Fijimi Shobo; the first novel was released in September 2008, and the 25th novel was released in March 2018. Yen Press publishes the High School DxD light novel series in English, and it will release the 15th novel on December 10th, 2024.
Due to their popularity, the High School DxD novel franchise has inspired several novel spinoffs and manga adaptations, as well as four anime adaptations.
