The light novel series Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens by Kisaki Chiaki will end with the release of the 14th novel on May 24th, 2024. The author’s Twitter account revealed the news, and the post also confirmed the release of the 13th novel, which will be available for sale on April 25th, 2024.

Kisaki started the series with illustrations by Ichiiro Hako in 2014, and Kadokawa published the 12th novel in February 2023. The novel series won the first prize in the 20th Dengeki Novel Awards and inspired multiple stage plays and a TV anime adaptation in 2018.

The series also inspired two manga adaptations: one by Akino Kisara from July 2016 to May 2017 and the second, Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens Dai 2-Maku, by Nagaoka Chiaki from August 2017 to October 2018. Both adaptations were serialized in Square Enix’s G Fantasy magazine.
