Aside from several doujinshi for the Touhou series before her mangaka debut, Nakatani is well known for her previous work, yuri romance Yagate Kimi ni Naru (“Bloom Into You”), also serialized on Dengeki Daioh from April 27, 2015 to September 27, 2019 and collected into seven tankoubon volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series in English.

Living in a world where “periodic exceptional phenomena” (colloquially known as “bugs”) occur constantly, middle school student Wataya Kon is hired as an assistant by his landlord, Himesaki Kasane, a researcher who is unaffected by bugs. Bugs can last anywhere between several days to several weeks, affecting things like the growth of plants, people’s sense of direction, and how much time is in a day… there are as many potential “glitches” in reality as one can dare to imagine. Despite Kasane being as carefree and unpredictable as the bugs themselves, Kon begins to appreciate her company, along with that of his four other roommates, as they come together to learn and experience the mysterious nature of the bugs.
