The official website for the anime 30-sai made Doutei da to Mahou Tsukai ni Nareru Rashii (Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!) revealed that an accompanying mini-anime titled Cheri Maho Mini Gekijou (Cherry Magic: Mini-theater) began streaming on the show’s official Twitter account and YouTube channel.

Cheri Maho Mini Gekijou, which began streaming on December 22nd, 2023, will release new episodes on an irregular schedule. The mini-anime is adapted from the manga’s one-page manga shorts included within the digital versions of the manga.
The anime 30-sai made Doutei da to Mahou Tsukai ni Nareru Rashii will debut on January 10th, 2024, on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo. Yoshiko Okuda (Kakuriyo – Bed & Breakfast for Spirits) directs the anime at Satelight Studio.

The anime and the accompanying mini-anime are adapted from the manga by Toyota Yuu (Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan), which began serialization in 2018 on Pixiv’s Gangan Pixiv service. Square Enix licensed the manga and published the 12th volume in July 2023.
The manga has inspired a Japanese live-action series that premiered in October 2020 in Japan and a Thai live-action series which premiered in December 2023. The Japanese series received a live-action movie sequel that premiered in Japan in April 2022.
