Nihonbungeisha’s Manga Goraku Special digital magazine announced last week that the manga Hagure Idol Jigokuhen (Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight!) by Takatou Rui will resume serialization in the magazine’s 44th issue on March 15th, 2024. Takatou also confirmed the manga’s return on his Twitter account last week.
Hagure Idol Jigokuhen was launched in February 2014 in Nihonbungeisha’s Bessatsu Manga Goraku magazine. Due to the magazine’s closure in December 2014, the manga moved to Nihonbungeisha’s Manga Goraku Special digital in March 2015.
Takatou announced in 2022 that he would be retiring from drawing manga due to personal circumstances, but it was unclear if his retirement would be permanent or temporary. Due to Takatou’s retirement, the manga went on hiatus in 2022. Nihonbungeisha published the manga’s 16th tankoubon volume in November 2022, and Seven Seas Entertainment will release the manga’s sixth volume in English on March 12th, 2024.
