The light novel series Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Come (Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose) by Nimaru Shuichi will end with the 13th novel. The news was confirmed with the release of the 12th novel in the series.
Nimaru started the novel series in 2019. Kadokawa released the first novel with illustrations by Shigure Ui (Kimi wa Boku no Regret) in July 2019 and the most recent novel, 12, on March 8th, 2024.
The light novels inspired a manga adaptation by Itou Ryou in November 2019 in Kadokawa’s monthly Comic Alive magazine. Kadokawa released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2020 and the seventh volume in November 2023. A spinoff manga titled Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Come: Otonari no Yon-shimai ga Zettai ni Honobono suru Nichijou was also released in 2021 in the Monthly Comic Alive magazine.
A 12-episode TV anime adaptation of the novel series was also released in April 2021 and can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
