Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine has confirmed that Irono’s Ryuu no Hanayome Okotowari manga will end in the magazine’s July 2024 issue, available for sale on June 18th, 2024.
Irono (Shinigami to Gin no Kishi, Sono Koi wa Ichigo no You ni) started the fantasy manga in August 2021 in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine, and Square Enix released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2022. The latest volume, number four, was published in November 2023.
In a village where legends of dragons are still passed on, Sakura and Ren are born with the ability to manipulate water. Known as the Dragonborn, they protect the village’s existence. One day, to save the weak-bodied Ren from an accident, Sakura breaks the seal on the dragon Kouga and makes a pact. With Ren as hostage, Sakura now serves the dragon.
