Sega released a new trailer for its upcoming Sonic x Shadow Generations game, which confirmed that it will be released for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 25th, 2024.

The game is now available to pre-order, and players who order the Digital Deluxe Edition will gain early access to it from October 22nd, 2024.
The game is a remastered and expanded collection of the 2D and 3D Sonic levels from the Sonic Generations game. It will also include a new standalone campaign for players to take on the role of Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic Generations was originally released in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in commemoration of the series’ 20th anniversary. It was later released for PC and Nintendo 3DS.
