Shogakukan’s Sho-Comi magazine confirmed this week that Mitsuki Miko’s Shounen Bride -Dansou Reijou to Kuro Shosei (Boy Bride) manga will end in four chapters in July 2024.
Mitsuki (Mitsu Aji Blood, Teito Hatsukoi Shinjuu, Momo Lover, Koi, Hirari) started the manga in January 2020 as a one-shot in Shogakukan’s Sho-ComiX magazine before beginning serialization in May 2020. It then moved to Shogakukan’s Sho-Comi magazine in March 2023. Shogakukan released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2021 and the latest volume, number nine, in March 2024.
The story follows a woman named Ren, who is from a prestigious family but poses as a man and the only son of the family. A student named Kazuomi discovers her secret, and they start a secret romance.
