The final chapter of the spinoff manga Boku no Hero Academia: Team Up Mission (My Hero Academia: Team Up Mission) by Akiyama Yoko will be published on January 4th, 2025, in the February 2025 issue of Shueisha’s Saikyou Jump magazine.
Akiyama began serialization of the Boku no Hero Academia: Team Up Mission manga in August 2019 in Shueisha’s Saikyou Jump magazine. Shueisha published the manga’s first volume in March 2020 and the seventh volume on December 4th, 2024.
The manga is a spinoff of Horikoshi Kouhei’s Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) manga. Horikoshi (Oumagadoki Zoo and Sensei no Baruji) started the original manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump in July 2014 and ended it in August 2024. Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2014; the final volume, number 42, was published in Japan on December 4th, 2024.
Viz Media published the original manga and the Boku no Hero Academia: Team Up Mission manga in English. Viz Media will release the My Hero Academia manga’s 40th volume on February 11th, 2025, and the My Hero Academia: Team Up Mission manga’s sixth volume on March 4th, 2025.
The original Boku no Hero Academia manga was adapted into a TV anime series in 2016. The anime’s seventh season premiered in April 2024 and ended with its 21st episode on October 12th, 2024. All seven seasons can be streamed on Crunchyroll, and the show’s staff confirmed that the anime will end with its eighth season in 2025.
