Kadokawa’s Monthly Shounen Ace magazine confirmed this week that Hoshikawa Shiwasu will launch a new manga in the Bungo Stray Dogs franchise on January 24th, 2025, in the March 2025 issue of the magazine. The new manga, titled Bungo Stray Dogs Storm Bringer, is an adaptation of the eighth novel in the Bungo Stray Dogs light novel series by Asagiri Kafka and Harukawa Sango, which was released in February 2021.
Hoshikawa recently ended the Bungo Stray Dogs: Dazai, Chuuya, Juugosai (Bungo Stray Doys: Dazai, Chuuya Age Fifteen) manga, and Kadokawa released the manga’s fourth tankoubon volume on October 4th, 2024. The manga was an adaptation of the seventh novel in the Bungo Stray Dogs novel series by Asagiri and Harukawa. The seventh novel, titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dazai, Chuuya, Juugosai, was released in August 2019.
Asagiri and Harukawa started the ongoing Bungo Stray Dogs manga in December 2012 in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine, and Kadokawa published the first volume in April 2013 and the 25th volume in June 2024. They adapted the original manga into a light novel series in April 2014, and Kadokawa released the ninth novel in December 2023.
