Amazon Japan is listing Kyou Machiko’s Suzume no Gakkou (Suzume’s School) manga as ending with the release of the manga’s third tankoubon volume on April 17th, 2025.
Manga artist Kyou (Cocoon, Mitsuami no Kami-sama, Kamimachi) started the manga in June 2022 on Amutus Corporation’s Mecha Comic platform, and Takeshobo published the manga’s first volume in September 2023. Both the manga’s second volume and the third and final volume are set to be released on April 17th, 2025.
The story follows Suzume and Medaka, third graders attending the same cram school for junior high school entrance exams. Suzume is an ordinary elementary school student, both in appearance and at home. Meanwhile, Medaka is a cute private elementary school student from a wealthy family. The two have nothing in common, but they hit it off and become friends, and through each other, they begin to search for their true selves, unconstrained by gender, family, and existing values.
