Fukuda Michio (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital, Terraformars Revenge) is directing the anime at Seven Arcs studio in collaboration with Synergy SP studio.
The light novel’s illustrator, KWKM (Hazure Skill), drew the illustration below to celebrate the anime news.

Shinozaki published the first light novel in July 2018 on Overlap’s Comic Gardo website and the 11th novel, with illustrations by KWKM, was released in Japan in June 2023. The light novels also inspired a manga with art by Uchiuchi Keyaki and Uyoshi Shou, which began publication in July 2019 on the Comic Gardo website. The manga’s eighth tankoubon volume was published in Japan also in June 2023.
Touka Mimori and his classmates are abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, summoned by the resident goddess to serve as heroes. The good news? Most of the students display amazing skills upon arrival! The bad? Mimori is the worst of the lot, bottoming out at a measly E-rank. Incensed, the goddess tosses him into a dungeon to die–but it turns out that Mimori’s skills aren’t so much worthless as they are abnormal. Abnormally powerful, perhaps!
