Mag Garden revealed this week that the post-apocalyptic manga Nyaight of the Living Cat (Night of the Living Cat) by Hawkman and Mecha-Roots has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation in 2025.

Hawkman started the manga with illustrations by Mecha-Roots in October 2019 in Mag Garden’s Comic Garden. The manga’s first tankoubon volume was released in May 2021, and the fifth volume will be published in Japan on February 22nd, 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment published the manga’s third volume in English in October 2023; the fourth volume will be released on June 11th, 2024.
A virus spreads worldwide, transforming all humankind into wild, slavering, furry beasts: cats, to be precise.
