Iwanaga Ryoutarou‘s Pumpkin Scissors manga returns on April 6th, 2024, after a 4-year hiatus. The manga will resume serialization in the May 2024 issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Shounen magazine.
Iwanaga started the manga in 2002 in Kodansha’s Magazine Great, and in 2006, it moved to the Monthly Shounen magazine. Kodansha released the first tankoubon volume in June 2004 and the most recent volume, number 23, in November 2019. The manga entered hiatus in March 2020.
Due to the manga’s popularity, it inspired a TV anime adaptation in October 2006. All 24 episodes can be found on Crunchyroll.
