Staff for the TV anime Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master”: Skill no Mi (Tabetara Shinu) wo Mugen ni Taberareru You ni Natta Ken ni Tsuite released the anime’s second promotional video and revealed that the anime will premiere on the ABEMA streaming service in Japan on December 31st, 2024, one week before each episode’s TV broadcast.
The anime will debut on Japanese TV on January 7th, 2025, on Tokyo MX and then on BS Fuji and MBS channels, and Crunchyroll will stream the show as it airs.

The Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master” anime is an adaptation of the manga by Matsukoto Air, which is in itself an adaptation of the light novel written by Hanyuu and illustrated by Isegawa Yasutaka (6-Sai no Kenja wa Hikage no Michi o Ayumitai, Bannou “Murazukuri” Cheat de Otegaru Slow Life: Mura desu ga Nani ka?).
Hanyuu started the Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master”: Skill no Mi (Tabetara Shinu) wo Mugen ni Taberareru You ni Natta Ken ni Tsuite story in May 2020 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and in May 2022 Kodansha published the story as a novel with illustrations by Isegawa.
Matsukoto adapted the story into a manga in July 2021 in Kodansha’s Suiyoubi no Sirius. Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2021 and its sixth volume in June 2024.
