The eighth tankoubon volume of Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi (The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace) confirmed that the manga will end with the ninth volume, which will go on sale towards the end of 2024.
The manga was created by Amahara (Ishuzoku Reviewers) and illustrated by Coolkyoushinja (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon, Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken). The first version of the manga was serialized by Amahara on the Neetsha website and was halted in May 2016. Coolkyoushinja then launched the remake manga in August 2018 in Young Animal magazine. Shinchosha released the manga’s eighth volume on December 27th, 2023, and Seven Seas Entertainment, which releases the manga in English, released the fifth volume in August 2023 and will publish the sixth in May 2024.
Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi inspired a TV Anime adaptation that premiered in July 2021. All 11 episodes can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
