Bushiroad has announced that it will release the first console game in the DanMachi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) franchise through its Bushiroad Games label, launched in January 2023.

The game titled Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Familia Myth: Mizu to Hikaru no Fulland (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth: Fulland of Water and Light) will feature a completely new story in the DanMachi world and the original light novel author, Oomori Fujino, is credited with the original story scenario.
Oomori published the first DanMachi light novel, with illustrations by Yasuda Suzuhito, under the SB Creative imprint in 2013. The novels won the grand prize in the fourth GA Bunko Awards and have inspired three different manga series, TV anime, and OVAs.
