Shonengahosha’s Young King Ours magazine has confirmed that Takeda Sun’s Guardian (ガーディアン) manga will end in the magazine’s October 2025 issue, which will be available for sale on August 29th, 2025.
Manga Author Takeda (Gleipnir) started the manga in March 2024 in Shonengahosha’s Young King Ours magazine, and Shonengahosha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2024. The manga’s second volume was released in April 2025.
The story is set in a world where people have developed partially or completely mutated bodies. These people, who have powers far beyond those of humans, are called superhumans. One of these superhumans is Kanata Arakawa, nicknamed Rocket Man, who has the overwhelming strength to destroy giant monsters with a single blow. However, he does not use his power for a heroic cause; instead, he uses it for his own purpose.
