Staff for the Eris no Seihai (The Holy Grail of Eris/ エリスの聖杯 ) TV anime have revealed a new key visual and confirmed that the anime will premiere on January 8th, 2026, on TBS and its affiliated channels. The anime will also air on the BS11 channel on January 9th.
Morrita to Jumpei is directing the anime at Dre Pictures and Good Smile Film, and the anime will star:
- Ichinose Kana as Constance Grail
- Suzushiro Sayumi as Scarlett Castiel
- Azakami Youhei as Randolph Alster
- M.A.O as Lily Orlamunde

The anime is based on Tokiwa Kujora and Yuunagi’s Eris no Seihai light novel series. Author Tokiwa started the story in 2017 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and SB Creative published the first novel with illustrations by Yuunagi (Saikyou Degarashi Ouji no Anyaku Teii Arasoi, Ore no Genjitsu wa Renai Game??) in November 2019 and the fourth novel in March 2022.
Publisher Drecom re-published the original four novels and a new fifth novel in November 2024. The series’ sixth novel is scheduled for release on January 7th, 2026.
The light novels were also adapted into a manga by Momoyama Hinase (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai – Minagoroshi Hen) in 2019 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website. Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2019 and the 13th volume in September 2025. The manga’s 14th volume will be released on January 7th, 2026.
Yen Press releases both the novel series and its manga adaptation in English under the title The Holy Grail of Eris. It has released the first four novels in the series, and it will release the 11th manga volume on January 20th, 2026. Yen Press describes the novel story below:
