Netflix has confirmed that it will stream the Dragon Ball Daima anime in Asia from October 14th, 2024, and globally from October 18th, 2024.

The anime will premiere on Japanese TV on October 11th, 2024, on Fuji TV, and Crunchyroll will begin streaming it on the same day. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in the United States, Canada, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India.

The Dragon Ball Daima anime will have its world premiere at a special event on October 6th, 2024, at Tokyo Big Sight. The event celebrates the anime and commemorates the franchise’s 40th anniversary. During the event, Dragon Ball Daima’s first episode will be screened three times, and cast members will be in attendance for the first two.

Yashima Yoshitaka and Komaki Aya are directing the anime at Toei Animation, and Nozawa Masako will return to voice Son Goku. The anime is based on the Dragon Ball manga franchise. Toriyama Akira (Sand Land, Go! Go! Ackman, Dr. Slump) started the original Dragon Ball manga in 1984. Sadly, Toriyama passed away on March 1st, 2024, at the age of 68.
