The 13th tankoubon volume of Sakurai Norio’s Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart/僕の心のヤバいやつ ) manga, released on January 8th, 2026, has revealed that the manga series will end with its 14th volume.

Sakurai started the manga in March 2018 in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shounen Champion magazine. In July 2018, the manga found a new home on Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website, and Akita Shoten published the manga’s first volume in December 2018.

Seven Seas Entertainment published the manga in English under the name The Dangers in My Heart, and it will release the manga’s 12th volume on February 24th, 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga below:
“Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!”
Due to the popularity of the manga, it has received a light novel adaptation, a manga sequel, a manga spinoff and an anime adaptation.
Additionally, an anime compilation film titled Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie) will premiere in Japan on February 13, 2026.
