Kadokawa has revealed the main promotional video for the Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai (Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family!/ アルマちゃんは家族になりたい ) TV anime, and it has also confirmed that the show will premiere on October 5th, 2025, on the AT-X channel at 11:00 p.m.

Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide, excluding Japan and mainland China, under the name Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family.
Minami Yasuhiro is directing the anime at Studio Flad, and the anime will star:
- Tsukishiro Hika as Alma
- Suzuki Ryouta as Enji Kamisato
- M.A.O as Suzume Yobane
- Nagae Rika as Makina
- Yano Hinaki as Neon
The anime is based on Nanateru’s Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai (少女型兵器（アルマちゃん）は家族になりたい) comedy manga. The manga is about the super-strong and cute girl-type weapon named Alma and the two genius scientists who created her.
Manga author Nanateru serialised the manga from July 2021 to February 2024 in Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype. Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2022 and the third volume in March 2024.
Nanateru then started a sequel manga in July 2024 titled Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai Z (アルマちゃんは家族になりたいZ). The man’s first volume was released in April 2025, and the second volume is scheduled for release on October 10th, 2025.
