Shueisha has confirmed that the MARRIAGETOXIN (Marriage Toxin/ マリッジトキシン) manga by Joumyaku and Yoda Mizuki has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation in 2026. A teaser video and visual for the anime have been released.

Hori Motonobu is directing the anime at Bones Film studio, and the anime will star Ishiya Haruki as Hikaru Gero and Wakayama Shion as Mei Kinosaki.
Joumyaku and Yoda started the manga in April 2022 in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2022. The manga’s 15th volume is scheduled for release on October 3rd, 2025.
The MANGA Plus app releases the manga chapters in English under the name MARRIAGETOXIN, and Viz Media releases the manga volumes in English under the name Marriage Toxin. Viz Media will release the manga’s ninth volume on October 7th, 2025 and the 10th volume on December 2nd, 2025.
