Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine has confirmed that the Douse, Koishite Shimaunda (Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You/どうせ、恋してしまうんだ。) manga by Mitsui Haruka will end in the magazine’s March 2026 issue, available for sale on February 3rd, 2026. The manga will also be featured on the cover of the March 2026 issue.

Mitsui (Hоukago, Koi Shita) started the manga in October 2020 in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine, and Kodansha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2021. The manga’s 13th volume is scheduled for release on January 13th, 2026.

Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga chapters and volumes in English under the name Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You, and it released the manga’s 10th volume digitally in September 2025. Kodansha USA Publishing describes the manga below:

“It’s 2020, and Mizuha’s seventeenth birthday is the pits. Her dad forgot, the senpai she likes isn’t interested, and her social calendar is getting cleared out by a mysterious virus. But when her longtime childhood friend asks her out, Mizuha has to sort out what this change could mean. And her feelings may not be the only ones changing…!”

The story was adapted into a TV anime; the anime’s first season premiered in Japan in January 2025, and the anime’s second season is set to premiere on January 8, 2026.
