Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time game will launch on November 5th, 2026, and it revealed The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct video and the gameplay preview with series producer Aonuma Eiji. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch 2.

The game is a remake of the original The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which was released in November 1998 for the Nintendo 64 system. Nintendo describes the original game below:
