The official website for the TV anime Douse, Koishite Shimaunda (Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You), confirmed that the anime will premiere in January 2025, and it released the anime’s teaser visual and teaser video.

Yamamoto Junichi is directing the anime, which will star Shinfuku Sakura as Mizuho Nishino, Ura Kazuki as Kizuki Hazawa, Yoshitaka Sion as Shin Kashiwagi, Chiba Shouya as Airu Izumi, and Inomata Satoshi as Shuugo Hoshikawa.
The anime is based on the Douse, Koishite Shimaunda manga by Mitsui Haruka. Mitsui started the manga in October 2020 in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine, and Kodansha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2021 and the eighth volume in March 2024.
Mizuha’s seventeenth birthday is the pits. Her parents totally forgot, and the senpai she likes isn’t interested in her. But when her longtime childhood friend asks her out, Mizuha has to sort out what this change could mean…and all in the middle of a global pandemic!
