Entergram announced the release of Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku o Refine for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan. The game is a full remake of the Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku o visual novel by GIGA, and it will be released on December 19th, 2024.
The original Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku o visual novel was first released in Japan in March 2006 for PC. The game was then released for PlayStation 2 in 2007, PSP in 2009, and PS Vita in 2015. In April 2007, the visual novel was also adapted into a TV anime series titled Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo. The anime’s 13 episodes can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
Set on an island to the south, you play as Wataru Hoshino, a student who resides in a dorm on the highest peak of an island. A factory has closed on the island, leading to a drop in population and the number of students attending school. That leaves just you and a small set of girls in the dormitory.
