Staff for the Fermat no Ryouri TV anime have released a new teaser video and visual for the anime and confirmed that the show will premiere in July 2025 on the IMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi and 23 of its affiliated channels.

The anime will star Shirakawa Ryousuke as Gaku Kitada and Ban Taito as Kai Asakura.
The anime is based on the Fermat no Ryouri manga by Kobayashi Yuugo. Author Kobayashi (Aoashi, Mizu no Mori, Tenman a la carte) started the manga in September 2018 in Kodansha’s Monthly Shounen Magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2019 and the fourth volume in September 2023.
The manga follows Kitada Gaku, a high school student who aspires to be a mathematician but fails on that path. Having lost his dream, he spends his days aimlessly working part-time at the school cafeteria, when suddenly he has a fateful encounter with the mysterious young genius chef Asakura Kai. When the two meet and “mathematics” and “cooking” intersect, the door to an unknown world opens!
