Aniplex has released the first three minutes of footage and a new special visual for the Silent Witch: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto (Secrets of the Silent Witch/ サイレント・ウィッチ 沈黙の魔女の隠しごと) TV anime. The anime will premiere on July 4th, 2025, on the Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV and BS11 channels.

Iwamoto Yasuo is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi, and Kanasaki Takaomi is acting as chief director. The anime will star:

The anime is an adaptation of the light novel series Silent Witch: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto by Isora Matsuri and Fujimi Nanna. Isora started the story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2020, and Kadokawa published the first novel with illustrations by Fujimi (Tefuda ga Oume no Victoria) in June 2021 and the ninth novel in February 2025. The 10th novel will be released on July 10th, 2025.
Tana Tobi adapted the novel series into a manga in July 2021 in Kadokawa’s B’s-LOG COMIC, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2022 and the fifth volume in January 2025.
Yen Press publishes both the novel series and manga in English under the title Secrets of the Silent Witch. Yen Press will release the seventh novel on November 11th, 2025, and it will release the manga’s fourth volume on July 22nd, 2025. It describes the story below:
“Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is the world’s only practitioner of Voiceless Magic, a veritable heroine who single-handedly fended off the Black Dragon of legend. However, the young prodigy is actually…super-duper shy! Yup, turns out she only learned Voiceless Magic to avoid speaking in public. Ignorant of this, the Seven Sages have placed her on a top-secret mission to guard the Second Prince. Can Monica keep it together as she contends with both social interaction and the evils targeting the young royal?”
