Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine will publish the final chapter of the Strand (ストランド) manga, created by author NUMBER 8 and artist Masuko Ryouhei, on October 8th, 2025. Shogakukan will release the manga’s fifth and final tankoubon volume on November 18th, 2025.
The manga began in September 2024 on Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, and Shogakukan published the manga’s first volume in January 2025 and the fourth volume on August 18th 2025.
The manga focuses on four high school classmates. They are not exactly close friends but share moments that are both fun and irreplaceable, yet tinged with a quiet heartache they don’t even realise. These are the daily lives of high schoolers—and the strange twists in between.
