Staff for the Maou no Musume wa Yasashi Sugiru!! (魔王の娘は優しすぎる!! /The Demon King’s Daughter Is Too Kind!!) TV anime have confirmed that the anime will premiere in January 2026. Additionally three character trailers have been released.

Outa Masahiko is directing the anime at EMT Squared, and the anime will star Kuno Misaki as Doux, Ouhashi Ayaka as Jahi, Outsuka Akio as Ahriman and Chiba Shigeru as the anime’s narrator.
The anime’s story is described below:
“Although she was born a demon, Dou’s kindness knows no bounds. Her kindness is so great that she can gently heal evil demons, violent monsters, human slaves, and even sworn enemies, angels.
With his daughter in this state, the Demon King is worried and no longer has time to invade. Seeing the Demon King’s suffering, Jahi, his aide, decides to make Dou into a fine demon and gives her various trials. However, Jahi does not yet know that these trials will only increase Dou’s kindness…And Dou’s kindness is causing a small ripple in this far from kind world…”
The anime is based on t Sakamoto Yuuya’s Maou no Musume wa Yasashi Sugiru!! manga. Sakamoto (Yagami-san wa Kakushitai!) began publishing the manga in May 2019 on Hakusensha’s Manga Park app, and it is now available on Hakusensha’s Young Animal website. Hakusensha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2019 and its sixth volume in June 2025.
