The Assassin’s Creed Shadows game staff have confirmed that the game will receive a prequel manga titled Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Iga no Monogatari by manga artist Reguje.

The manga will be serialized on Kodansha’s YanMaga website starting on March 20th, 2025, the same day the Assassin’s Creed Shadows game will launch worldwide. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, Mac via App Store, and Luna.
Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Quebec confirmed in January 2025 that the game would be delayed until March 20th,2025. The game was initially planned for release on November 15th, 2024, but it was delayed to February 14th, 2025.
