Animation ID has announced that the Kizu Darake Seijo Yori Houfuku wo Komete (傷だらけ聖女より報復をこめて / With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess) light anime will be getting a second season in October 2026.

Fukase Saya is directing the anime’s second season at IMAGICA Infos/ Imageworks Studio, and the returning cast members are listed below:
- Seto Asami as Rua
- Saitou Souma as Sven
- Asakura Momo as Arianna
- Ura Kazuki as Garrett
- Okitsu Kazuyuki as Cezee
The anime’s first season premiered on July 9th, 2025, and it was directed by Chisaki at IMAGICA Infos/ Imageworks Studio.

The anime is based on the Kizu Darake Seijo Yori Houfuku wo Komete webtoon manga by Aminohada and SORAJIMA. The series started in August 2022 on the Comico platform in Japan, and the main story ended in June 2025. Ichijinsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2024 and the third volume in July 2025.
The story follows Rua, a candidate saint with healing powers. However, Rua’s ability has a flaw in that she transfers symptoms to herself to heal, which means she is also in pain and suffering, so she is called a defective saint by everyone except her only ally and best friend, Arianna.
One day, Garrot, the Knight Commander whom Rua cares about, is dying. After completely healing his wounds, Rua wanders between life and death at the limit of her abilities. However, when he wakes, all the credit goes to Arianna, and Garrot and Arianna become engaged.
Seeing Arianna’s true nature, and in despair, Rua vows not to heal anyone anymore. Then the Second Prince Swen asks, “Why don’t you take revenge on those who have demeaned you?” She uses another ability she has been hiding – the atrocious ability to inflict healing symptoms on others – she teams up with Sven and begins a new life as a villain rather than a saint.
