Drecom has confirmed that Tokiwa Kujora and Yuunagi’s Eris no Seihai (The Holy Grail of Eris) light novel series has been green-lit for an anime adaptation. A teaser video and visual for the anime have been released.

Tokiwa started the story in 2017 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and SB Creative published the first novel with illustrations by Yuunagi (Saikyou Degarashi Ouji no Anyaku Teii Arasoi, Ore no Genjitsu wa Renai Game??) in November 2019 and the fourth novel in March 2022. Drecom will publish the original novels and a new fifth novel on November 7th, 2024. Yen Press releases the novels in English, and it released the fourth novel in October 2023.
The light novels were also adapted into a manga by Momoyama Hinase (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai – Minagoroshi Hen) in 2019 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website. Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2019 and the 10th volume in March 2024. The 11th volume will be released on November 7th, 2024. Yen Press published the manga’s eighth volume in English in September 2024 and it will release the ninth volume on January 21st, 2025.
