MF Bunko confirmed this week that Sakurai Norio’s Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart) manga will get a light novel on September 25th, 2024.
Nozomi Kota (Choppiri Toshiue Demo Kanojo ni Shitekuremasu ka?, Inou Battle wa Nichijō-kei no Naka de, Musume Janakute, Mama ga Suki Nano!?) will write the novel, while Sakurai (Mitsudomoe, Twi-Yaba, Kodomo Gakkyuu) and Sune (Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasuka?) will illustrate it.
Publisher MF Bunko revealed that the light novel contains four new stories with a special story set 10 years in the future. MF Bunko also shared Sakurai’s cover and confirmed that the novel is now available for pre-order.

Sakurai started the manga in March 2018 in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shounen Champion magazine. In July 2018, the manga found a new home on Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website, and Akita Shoten published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2018 and the 10th volume in April 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment published the manga in English and released its eighth volume in April 2024. It describes the manga:
