Staff for the Youchien Wars (Kindergarten WARS/ 幼稚園WARS) anime have revealed a teaser video, visual, and main staff for the anime.

Gomi Shinsuke is directing the anime at Sunrise studio, and the anime will star Tanezaki Atsumi as Rita and Kumagai Kentarou as Doug.
The anime is based on Chiba Yuu’s Youchien War manga. Chiba (Dricam!!) started the manga in September 2022 on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2023. The manga’s 15th volume was released in August 2025, and the 16th volume will be released on January 5th, 2026.
Shueisha’s MANGA Plus website releases the manga’s chapters digitally in English under the name Kindergarten WARS. Yen Press publishes the manga volumes in English, and it will release the third volume in print on January 20th, 2026. Yen Press describes the manga’s story below:
