The official website for the TV anime Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo (The 100 Girlfriends Who, Really, Really, Really Love You) has revealed a new visual for the anime’s second season and has confirmed that the show will premiere on January 12th, 2025 on the Tokyo MX channel.

The anime’s first season was released on October 8th, 2023, and can be streamed on Crunchyroll. The show’s first and second seasons are directed by Sato Hikaru (Dropkick on My Devil!) at Bilbury Animation Studio. The anime’s new cast members include Shindou Amane as Kurumi Haraga, Takahashi Rei as Iku Sutou, Lynn as Mimimi Utsukushisugi, and Takao Kanon as Meme Kakure. Returning cast members include:

  • Katou Wataru as Rentaro Aijo
  • Hondo Kaede as Hakari Hanazono
  • Tomita Miyu as Karane Inda
  • Naganawa Maria as Shizuka Yoshimoto
  • Seto Asami as Nano Eiai
  • Asai Ayaka as Kusuri Yakuzen
  • Chiba Shigeru as God (Kami-sama)

The anime, based on the ongoing manga by Nakamura Rikito and illustrated by Nozawa Yukiko, was launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in December 2019. Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2020 and the 18th volume in June 2024. The 19th volume will be released on September 19th, 2024.

Aijo Rentaro tried again, but after asking a hundred girls out on a date, he was rejected every single time. In desperation, he prays for guidance… only to be told by a god that his rejections were due to some cosmic error! Now, the god will set things right by ensuring Aijo gets one hundred dates. As things often do with gods, the dates come with a catch: one hundred girls are destined to be Aijo’s soulmate, and unless he returns their feelings each time, they’ll die in horrible accidents! Sure enough, girls start confessing their love to Aijo left and right. But how is he supposed to choose?! He doesn’t want to kill anyone! When he looks at each potential soulmate, it feels like a bolt of lightning. Can someone love a hundred other people?
