The story follows musician Kyosuke, who has distanced himself from music and lives a listless life after his partner Kai died in an accident just before their major debut. However, three years after the accident, Kai suddenly appears before Kyosuke. “Even if you’re alive, if you just stay still and do nothing, it’s the same as being dead,” he says, speaking with the same bluntness as when he was alive.
Kai’s forcefulness makes Kyosuke smile, and he is persuaded to once again face the world of music. There is new joy in creating music together, but his happy times with Kai will not last forever…
