Staff for the Bad Girl (ばっどがーる) anime have revealed the main promotional video, which confirms that the anime will premiere on July 5th, 2025. The anime will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video, DMM TV, and ABEMA from July 5th at 24:00, and it will then premiere on Japanese TV on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels on July 5th at 25:00 (effectively July 6th at 1:00 a.m.).

Furuta Takeshi is directing the show at the Bridge studio, and the anime will star:

- Maeda Kaori as Mizuka Mizutori

The anime is based on Nikumaru’s Bad Girl manga. Nikumaru (Aitsu no Kanojo) started the manga in December 2020 in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat, and Houbunsha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2022 and the fourth volume in July 2024. The manga’s fifth volume will be released on July 26th, 2025.
The manga is a school comedy that follows Yuu Yutani, a first-year high school student who is a good girl. However, to attract the attention of the school’s disciplinary committee chairman and Madonna, Atori Mizutori, she begins to act like a delinquent.
