Kadokawa has confirmed that Katsuwo’s #Zombie Sagashitemasu (#I’m Looking for Zombie/ #ゾンビさがしてます) manga has been green-lit for a TV anime, which will premiere in 2026. In celebration of the news, Katsuwo has released an illustration.
Katsuwo (Mitsuboshi Colors, Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu) started the manga in June 2022 in Kadokawa’s Comic Dengeki DaiohG magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2022. Kadokawa released the manga’s third and final volume in January 2024.
The manga is set in a world where 90% of humanity has been infected and killed by a mysterious infectious disease, only to then rise again as zombies who attack people.
Thirteen years have passed since the “Red Day,” and Aki, who has no memory of the world before the destruction, escapes from her village with her good friends Haru and Natsuki to search for her father. Unfortunately, the outside world is filled with zombies, zombies, and more zombies everywhere they look!
