Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine has confirmed that the Shuuen no Majo to Sekai no Tabi (The witch of the end and the world journey/終焉の魔女と世界の旅 ) manga by Kataoka Tonchi will end in the magazine’s March 2026 issue, available for sale on February 9th, 2026.
Kataoka (Maoh no Mama ni Narun da yo!) started the manga in August 2024 on Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2024. The manga’s third volume was released in September 2025.
In a world devastated by the world’s most evil witch, Elena Morgana, humanity is on the brink of extinction. Unfortunately for her, she loses her magical power due to the resistance of the human race!
When her magical powers return, she plans to end the human race once and for all; however, she encounters a kind villager named Taro who changes her mind. So begins the evil witch’s journey to save humanity.
